growing up in the eastern free-state countryside, earth, agriculture, vast landscapes and and endless skylines were part of aat's formative years. this upbringing in and part of nature greatly shaped the sense of being within the landscape, environment or community, and being part thereof, rather than imposing thereon become paramount to making sense of being. this journey led to interest in envisioning, designing and making.

upon completion of his master's degree in architecture [m.arch. prof] cum laude at the university of free state, aat spent his formative architectural years learning and growing throughout south africa. now based in western cape, aat pursues the same sense of being and making within the immediate landscape and context. 

born in the eastern cape, construction was part of the njoli family growing up. titus has grown from the trade as a brick layer to registered home builder, moving to cape town, he has overseen projects of various complexities throughout western cape and south africa. with a passion for people and engaging with communities, titus has a passion for doing work that has a lasting impact on people and communities.
